Our Story

Our Story...

We met in elementary school—Thomas spotted me in music class and swears he was smitten from the start. His Mimi still tells the story: after visting her after school one day, he announced he was going to marry me someday. Cheyenne didn’t feel the same way until middle school; she was too nervous to risk their friendship, but Thomas never stopped trying. One Fourth of July at the Nutterfort Fair, we both knew we had to give us a chance. On September 1, 2013, we decided to give us a chance, and we’ve been together ever since. Over nearly thirteen years we’ve supported each other through college, jobs, illness, loss, and many joyful moments. In 2024 we moved to Charleston, WV, where we share our home with two very opinionated kitties, Jiji and Jasper. We love each other’s families and can’t wait to become one on April 18, 2026, in Belington, WV.

Q + A

Can I bring a Plus One?

Due to limited capacity and venue costs, we can only accommodate guests who are explicitly named on the invitation. If your invitation includes a “plus one,” that guest has already been included in our final headcount. Please RSVP by the deadline so we can finalize arrangements and seating. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but due to venue capacity and the adult-focused nature of our ceremony and reception, we are unable to accommodate children unless they are specifically named on the invitation. If your invitation includes a child’s name, please include them when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Will there be a Bar?

Yes. Alcohol will be limited to wine, champagne, and a selection of beer; there will be no full bar. We will also offer two signature cocktails and nonalcoholic mocktails. Because children will be present, we expect guests to drink responsibly—intoxicated guests will be asked to leave.

Does the venue have parking?

Yes. The venue provides on-site parking, and shuttle golf carts will run between the parking area and the venue to assist guests who have difficulty walking longer distances or navigating uneven terrain.

Can I take my own pictures?

We respectfully request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that our photographer can capture the event uninterrupted. We are happy to share professional photos afterward upon request. After the ceremony—except for the first dance—guests are welcome to take and share their own photos.

Are food allergies being taken into consideration?

Yes—please notify us as soon as possible if you or anyone in your invitation party has a food allergy or dietary restriction so we can coordinate accommodations with our menu. While we will make every reasonable effort to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen‑free environment, so please plan accordingly.

Will there be Hotel/Lodging Accommodation?

We are currently working towards lodging accommodation for our guest if needed. PLEASE message/call either Cheyenne, Thomas, or one of the parents of the bride and groom if this is needed so we can try to help if needed. Please be understanding that we cannot afford hotels for everyone but will try to get discounts on bulk reservation for rooms!

Please disregard RSVP Deadline...

Due to weather, invitations had been delayed arriving so please just RSVP as soon as possible! We hope to celebrate with you all! ❤️
